"This photograph was created in Southwest Harbor, Maine, where this family kept their boat.  It was a beautiful day, and they were nice enough to give me a ride after the session! Lighting this portrait was a special challenge, due to the stark whiteness of the boat.  It was important that the subjects be lit perfectly from the setting sun, without 'washing out' the deck of the boat."
